There's a section where you can upload your models. Be sure to read the guidelines for image specs. Know also that until the next major skill update the submitted models will not be used

GenCon report: ANet decided to create their own cards [picture] with only one overused background and model per profession. I'm seriously disappointed by their material... But since it's official, I'm not sure I'll take the time to make a new release considering the feedback (or the lack of feedback) and use of my cards in the GW community.
@Zexion: I had fixed the redundant icons in the previous release (it originally comes from an error in the official fan kit icons), but my PC suffered a serious disk crash recently and my backup didn't contain this fix. I'll have to re-change the icon in the next release (if there is one).

I saw the cards too Frog, and while they are nice... your's are sharp. I was hoping they would at least, if they made their own, take some notes from yours. The work you put in is phenomenal, if Guild Wars players had an option to buy some of these cards from ArenaNet (or we had the permission to be able to print and distribute something like yours) I believe that a GW card game could become quite popular and have it's own cult following.

Forgot to post the announcement on GWG: :/
Added since then: MediaWiki installer and phpnuke forums installer
2006/11/06: New release. Available here ( ~100MB ).
Release notes:
In addition to the traditional updates (Nightfall, skill balance, more wiki articles with pop ups) and improvements (phpBB, phpNuke, MyBB installer, template management), and goodies (xml/txt/php/wiki dumps), there is a significant change in the sofbbcode philosophy: I am now using a skill database built from a unification & merging of GuildWiki and gwdb plus additional data from other sources: sealed rarity, better icons whenever available, 0..12..16 descriptors...
So far most GW websites were reinventing the wheel and maintaining their own inaccurate and incomplete databases. Ideally, ANet would provide this reference material (they're using it on their own website and cards) but we're working with what we have... In an effort to use, to unify and to merge the best GW fan material available out there, I built various 'database' translators and website scanners to help fix errors and to complete existing databases with additional data available elsewhere.
To complete the demonstration, I plugged this translated material into my card builder to replace the [SoF] internal database. This will alleviate our upkeep effort, and allow [SoF] members to help improve the 'official' source used for the sobbcode. What used to stay in SoF will be shared with the community, either through the updated Wiki/gwdb content itself, or through the sofBBcode package.
The sofbbcode is a proof of concept. It is by no means a replacement of other websites or GW tools. It is basically maintained to show that such database-like content from GW fan sites could benefit from other formats and other gadgets (database filters, sorting, comparison...). Another demonstration I wanted to make was it was possible to grab and reformat/translate this material automatically with a quickly tinkered bot.
This modest bbcode demo will hopefully demonstrate that the knowledge accumulated in a large GW fan site could benefit from other storage medias (structured database) and other tools: both classical (structured/dynamic display) or smart/innovative gadgets.
The first solid result was to encourage ANet to improve and to release official Sealed Deck cards. Another notable outcome was to detect and help fix errors on the GuildWiki skill list (see here and here), but also to provide additional reference data that could be included in the gwdb. Another side effect was to show how cool-looking would be a GW-based trading card game...
When I think the concept is fully explored and demonstrated, I'll consider the end of the sofbbcode. The GW cards can be replaced by ANet's official card set, the minicards and tooltips can be replaced by the gwbbcode, the Sealed Deck Generator will be simplified (no more cards) and its source released, and the [ wiki ] tag will hopefully be replaced by better tools from other groups.
Talking too much, as usual. Oh well... Let's talk about features and content.
Enjoy.
Frog Devourer.
PS: both GuildWiki and the gwShack need help to maintain accurate skill databases (but suggestions, bug reports...). Please check out these links if you want to contribute and to give a hand : GuildWiki and gwShack.
New/upgraded features:
- New installer: upload & unpack in your ZIP file in your main vBulletin (or MyBb, PhpBB2, phpNuke) directory, change access rights if need, run the installer, and voilà
- Updated Sealed Deck Generator with Nightfall skills and Professions
- Updated card set with recent skill update : all 1136 skills from the three chapters
- Updated card set with post-release NF skills (as opposed to the WPE version)
- Included all NF icons (wiki/gwkb, not official fan kit)
- [ wiki ] article shortlist expanded (557 bosses with either green or elite, 297 elites, 328 greens)
- [ wiki ] tag expanded (if you enter a non-elite skill, the regular tooltip is displayed)
- Removed case dependency of tag parameter ([ skill=text]SPRINT[/skill ] is now equal to [ skill=text]Sprint[/skill ])
- Improved card layout engine (description, attr/value tables, font auto-size-change...)
- Added card & mini-card for Signet of Capture
- New [ template ] and [ build ] tags based on Liu Pi's template library.
Ex: [ template]ABNRMpcNl/aqX8rCr4KNRAA[/template ]
Experimental features:
- phpBB2 mod added to easy installer
- MyBB mod added to easy installer
- phpNuke mod added to easy installer
Additional content:
- Skill, Elite, Green and Boss reference lists (notably useful for the [ wiki ] tag)
- XML version of the GuildWiki skill database (merged with miscellaneous data from SoF, gwdb, and ANet
- XML version of the gwdb skill database (merged with miscellaneous data from SoF, GuildWiki, and ANet
- Gwdb skill database translated into GuildWiki template format (can be used to fix the 300+ significant errors on GuildWiki). I have stored and reconstructed the [[links]] of the original article, and the '''0...12''' descriptions, and any other additional descriptor not available in gwdb.
- GuildWiki skill database translated into gwdb PHP format (can be used to inconsistencies between both data sets). Additional data from other sources have been merged with th original GuildWiki content.
- Structured XML data about notable GuildWiki articles (bosses, greens, locations...)
Still on TODO list:
- Expand [ wiki ] shortlist with new articles (waiting for GuildWiki be less saturated to run my scanner)
- Add skill rarity icon for Nightfall skills (rarity list not published by ANet)
- Update all NF icons (official fan kit not released by ANet)
- Add more NF models and armors, especially Dervish & Paragon (none submitted so far)
- Expand XML dataset about wiki articles with Quest and Missions

THREAD NECROMANCY
Actually, I was digging around trying to find a Sealed Deck alternative, since the SoF forum and database seems to have shut down, and I found this thread with all sorts of downloads and what not.
Does anyone know of a separate mirror the generator was hosted at, or anything like that? ^_^ How2Sealed Deck without the SoF generator...?

I've tasked our guild coder to develop a new sealed deck generator, and after an hour he created a crude but effective model. It doesn't yet incorporate the skill rarities, but I think this is soon to come.
It's a severe WIP. A couple things aren't working as they should, but I think this can be worked out...
Check it out!
EDIT: The generator is complete. I'm gonna see about spreading it around various places.
EDIT II: Looks like the SoF generator is also back up.
